Surf Outlook
Friday 02/17/2012:
Finally, we have some solid surf in this weeks forecast. Last night we had some fun surf, but swell has diminished into the shin to knee high range today. The fun begins tomorrow as a E swell moves into our region producing surf in the knee-thigh+ range. Winds will be out of the E creating an onshore bump. The swell will build into Sunday with surf in the waist to stomach high range. Winds will not be favorable in the morning, but predicted to go out of the W late in the day. This is our window of solid surf with favorable winds. The swell fades into Sunday with waves in the knee-thigh+ with strong N winds. Get your work done and go surf this weekend. Follow any changing conditions on South End's HD Surf Cam.
As the water temp continues to fall, stop by the shop for a new Matuse or Body Glove wetsuit. A ton of boots, gloves, and hoods in stock. South End will keep you warm in the water!!!
